All fencers must be full compete members of british fencing, registered with the south east region on their bfa membership portal and over the age of 13 on the day of the event.

All fencers equipment must fully comply with the current bfa regulations.

The SE Championships is the qualifying  event for the GB Cup. The top 2 eligible fencers from the final rankings will be invited to represent the SEin the GB Cup in June. Eligibility criteria is available below.

This event is also the Kent Championships and eligible Kent fencers taking part will be ranked after the first round of pools for seeding for the Kent event which will take place after the SE event has finished.

Venue Information.

There is a large car park and no charge but you must give your registration number to the centre reception to avoid penalties.

There is a small charge to enter the venue, payable at reception

There are vending machines and water fountains at the centre and food outlets in the surrounding area.

Please note that neither the organiser, South East fencing, KCAFU nor the management of the centre can be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage to belongings or equipment, howsoever caused.

GB CUP

The GB Cup is a national event for intermediate level fencers

To be eligible for selection, fencers must:

  1. Be over 16 on 1st January 2023.
  2. Be ranked outside of the top 50 in the british fencing rankings as at 1st january 2023.
  3. Have never been selected by BF, home nation or other national equivalents to represent their nation at any level.
  4. Have never won a senior open event.
  5. Have a valid BF compete membership.
  6. Fencers may only enter the regional event in the region they have specified SE Region on their BF membership.
  7. Fencers may only fence in 1 qualifying event per season.
  8. Fencers must be UKresidents.
